Have you been convinced? Do you think you have the capacity to be creative? And if you knew that already, are you ready to express more of your creative self? I hope so! To challenge you to be more creative, here are a few ideas for you to consider.
Here we go….
- Visit one of the sites listed in yesterday’s post. Choose three to add to your to-do list in the next week. Extra credit if you pick one that pushes you to the edge of your comfort zone.
- Over the next few days, recognize your own creativity. Take a moment to quietly celebrate when you exercise your ingenuity.
- Make a list of how you are creative. Put a star by the items you like to do best. Figure out how you can do more of those activities.
- While creativity isn’t only about talent or the visual arts, if there is something you used to do – or always wanted to do – along those lines, find a way to get it on your calendar. Creativity that results in a visual representation of your talent is especially rewarding.
Most importantly, remember that you are creative and each day brings with it the opportunity to be creative. Find ways to express your creativity and enjoy.
Editorial Note: Now that it’s summer, I will post Monday through Thursday with Coaching and Coaching Challenges falling on Thursday instead of Friday. Have a great summer!
